A33 (Ex-CIÉ/GNR)
This AEC Regal entered service with the Dublin United Transport Company in 1935 as Fleet Number 646. Re-numbered as A33 the following year, it passed to CIÉ (Córas Iompair Éireann) with the formation of that semi-state body in 1945 and survived until 1952 at Conyngham Road Garage. This picture was taken on Bachelors Walk around 1950. O'Connell Bridge is to the left and, across the Liffey on Burgh Quay is the Irish Hospital Trust's Sweeps Office.
